CEREMONY OR CELEBRATION

The Tudor Barn is a wonderful flexible space - we’ve hosted weddings and wakes for over 20 years. We can make it formal or informal for small or larger groups. In the depths of winter, the pouring rain or hot sun, it may provide a more comfortable space for a ceremony than standing outside by the graveside. You can hold a service before a burial or gather for a post-burial memorial with readings, songs and reflections.

Fee guide (inc VAT)

Unless the funeral is by invitation only, it is difficult to estimate number of mourners at a funeral. The following is a guide to some different scenarios but please discuss with our team and we will try to accommodate your wishes.

Barn hire for a funeral ceremony would include seating, use of or sound system and our large TV screen and HDMI cable (if you’d like to display photos from your laptop)..

• Post-burial ceremony/memorial/celebration of life gathering with up to 80 mourners @ £750 inc VAT for up to 1.5 hours & thereafter @ £250/hour. Contact us to quote for known smaller or larger groups.

• Pre-burial funeral ceremony @ £750 inc VAT with up to 80 mourners on site for up to 1.5 hours (afterwards the deceased would be taken for burial at Primrose Wood).
